"Born Distorted" is a lower to mid-fi album filled with sloppy production and generally dark and bizarre songs. Recorded on a variety of equipment ranging from 4-track cassette to 18-track digital and even a laptop, tracks were often shuffled from one machine to another until Lxnnnie was satisfied or fed-up with the outcome. Retaining an audibly xeroxed feel, this collection is a grimy example of the ominous side the artist's recordings, overflowing with gnarly beats and menacing lyrics. Lxnnnie's very original and signature schizodelic style is present in 'Born Distorted' and the album pans out to be a muddy, mucky, dirty and definitely distorted experience for anyone whose ever spent a few nights in the junkyard or eaten a few bugs.
