about

Lxnnnie's "Writhing" is a collection of bare bones acoustic songs that hits straight form the gut and gets right to the core of his songwriting. Written and recorded in about 5 days, mostly on a cassette 4-track, with one song "Dating These Days?" recorded on a cheap $20 1-track tape recorder, Lxnnnie's guitar sounds deep and rich as do his mostly gruffy vocals. Highlights include the beautifully sad love song "Butterfly Wish", the downright creepy "Can You Hear Me Smile?", the manic autobiographic "All Creatures In Demand", and the light hearted "I Don't Wanna Sing". This effort proves to be a raw and classic acoustic album which champions Lxnnnie's unique and original songwriting style. With an overall hard-luck vibe, yet still maintaing a subtle feeling of hope, theses songs are somehow relatable and may very well assist a troubled soul through tough times.
